Join the fight to stop the UK's third biggest cancer killer.

March is prostate cancer awareness month and is marked to make men aware of the third biggest cancer killer in the UK.

Around 130 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every day in the UK, leading to around 47,700 cases annually. While this sickness can be treated, almost 12,000 are dying from it annually and the risk of dying rises if men get checked at a late stage.

According to recent research from Prostate Cancer UK, this disease is likely to become the most prevalent of all cancer forms by 2030.

The charity was founded with the ambition to reduce the number of deaths caused by the disease and raise awareness of it.

Each year they organise events such as the March for Men in London, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester– so far 6,300 people have participated and managed to raise more than £700,000.

One small step for a man is a giant leap for mankind.
